1.) Write the segment. Very Happy

>> Add a line break by using a white-coloured - symbol. That way it won't be seen, but the symbol can act as a placeholder for the space. Smile

2.) Colour the segment! Shocked

> Leave all actions black, but italicise them.
>> Leave all imported actions from the match generator (such as finishing moves) alone.

> Colour all faces (good guys) a cool colour.
>> Cool colours are considered blues, greens, and other lighter colours. Think "cool" like ice, the sea, etc.

> Colour all heels (bad guys) a warm colour.
>> Warm colours are your reds, oranges, and other shocking colours. Think "warm" like fire, the sun, etc.

> Colour General Managers grey.
>> Multiple General Managers will have the highest ranking General Manager be grey, and the other GM will be coloured to fit their affiliation (face, heel, etc.)

> Colour tweeners (impartial) or other characters to fit appropriately.
>> Tweeners generally get the color of their closest affiliation (face, heel).
>> Other characters may ignore affiliation altogether. For instance, a female interviewer or escort should almost always be pink. There are multiple shades available if more than one should appear.

> If Jimmy/Don appear in the segment, colour them appropriately.

> If any remaining "-"s remain uncoloured as a line break, go back and color them white.

3.) Format the Text. No

> "Select All" of the text after it has been written or coloured.
>> This may need to be done multiple times if moves have been imported from a match generator, as those should be left out of this and all other steps.

> With the text selected, bold the text, and increase the size to "Font size 2 (10 pt)"

> If Jimmy/Don appear in the segment, go back and select them, changing their size to "Font size 1 (8 pt)".

4.) Add images. Twisted Evil

> Add character pictures as they appear.
>> Each character picture should have a line break both above and below it, to separate it from the text.

>> Multiple character pictures at once should appear on the same line. If there are more, click the image logo again and cut the image size in half.

> To add a separator anywhere in your segment (NOT IN THE TITLE), use this:
>>For Aggression: http://www.thewrestlinggame.com/public/roster/43/xa%20-%201divider.jpg
>>For Warfare: http://www.thewrestlinggame.com/public/roster/43/xw%20-%201divider.gif

5.) Adding the Background and Title Suspect

> Click the HTML button in the editor. The HTML should pop up.
>> It's okay if you don't understand it.

> Add the following code to the very top to add the background AND title:

Aggression
Code:
<table border="0" cellpadding="25" width="640"><tbody><tr><td width="632" align="center" background="../public/roster/43/xa-background.jpg"><p><img src="../public/roster/43/xa%20-%201divider.jpg" alt="" /></p><p><strong>Title</strong></p><p> </p><p><img src="../public/roster/43/xa%20-%201divider.jpg" alt="" /> </p>

Warfare
Code:
<table border="0" cellpadding="25" width="640"><tbody><tr><td width="632" align="center" background="../public/roster/43/xw-background.jpg"><p><img src="../public/roster/43/xw%20-%201divider.gif" alt="" /></p><p><strong>Title</strong></p><p> </p><p><img src="../public/roster/43/xw%20-%201divider.gif" alt="" /> </p>

Click update in the HTML box and the background and separators should add.
Then you can write the name of your segment where it says "Title" in the editor itself.

---

>On the other hand, if you DO NOT want to add the title, use THIS code to the very top to add the background WITHOUT title:

Aggression
Code:
<table border="0" cellpadding="25" width="640"><tbody><tr><td width="632" align="center" background="../public/roster/43/xa-background.jpg">

Warfare
Code:
<table border="0" cellpadding="25" width="640"><tbody><tr><td width="632" align="center" background="../public/roster/43/xw-background.jpg">

---

>Then click the update button, and the background should appear immediately. Also, all text and images should now be centered.

6.) Confirm it!! Cool

>All your hard work won't be any good if you don't confirm it!

> Congrats. You've now completely written and formatted a segment!

>>>If you've written something to send to Finlandia or a VGM via pm (which you have the resources to do everything in this guide), then click "send" instead of confirm. You may also have a shot at VGMship. Smile
